The illustrious sons and daughters of Isaya Ekiti, Ekiti East constituency II under the Isaya progressive UNION (IPU) has publicly declared their unwavering support for Governor BAO second term and also the endorsement of Isaya born ALO MARCUS as the next to be Member House of Assembly into Ekiti State parliament.
This endorsement process that happened at Isaya Town hall was chaired by Ọba Mathew Ajayi Elejogun and Isaya in council, and presided by IPU Chairman; Mr Gboyega Omotola, former Director of National Library.
Among other high profile leaders of Isaya in attendance are Engr Adeola Johnson ; retired Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Shittu Bello; chairman APC Elders Forum, Chief Ogundana Sunday; Ekiti East local govt NULGE secretary, and Salami Idowu; Ekiti East NURTW Chairman. Also are massive crowd of Isaya individuals appraise to the endorsement of Mr Governor and ALO MARCUS.

The town hall meeting also come with a stern warning against imposition of candidates in APC.
Applauding the leaders for the endorsement, Marcus Ayodeji Alo, described the gesture as a challenge, promising never to betray the confidence reposed in him in the town and the constituency at large.
Alo pleaded with APC members in the constituency to work hard for the reelection of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in the June 20 poll, pledging to deploy every machinery in his disposal to mobilise for the governor and achieve success in the poll.
“Let me appreciate our leaders in Isaya Ekiti for adopting me as the aspirant for the primary in Isaya Ekiti. I really appreciate this honour. I don’t take it for granted. I will work hard with the party members to clinch the ticket.
“But the second term election of Governor Oyebanji is dear to my heart. It takes preeminence. Let us deliver massive votes for our governor in this constituency in this election. Let us attract development to our constituency through handsome votes for our performing Governor.
“If I am elected, I will work hard to promote good governance by being loyal to Governor Oyebanji and for the success of his administration”.
Meanwhile, the Asaya-in- Council through a statement signed by the Chairman of Isaya Progressive Union,Mr Gboyega Omotola, has rejected the purported endorsement of one Barr Tajudeen Ahmed from Ilasa axis, as the candidate of the party through a petition to the party at the state level.
“This is particularly of deeper concern and worry in view of the ludicrous and unacceptable endorsement of one Barr. Tajudeen Ahmed from Ilaṣa/Isinbọde for the same position.
