The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC) on Thursday arrested the Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Olakunle Oluomo at the Muritala Muhammad Airport, Lagos State.
Oluomo was said to have been on the wanted list of EFCC following his refusal to honour the invitation of the commission on several occasions bordering on financial crimes.
Oluomo and some members of the Assembly were alleged to have forged signatures and financial documents of the Ogun State House of Assembly.
The speaker was said to be undergoing serious grilling in the custody of the EFCC as at press time .
