The governorship candidate of African Democratic Party in the June 18 Ekiti governorship Election, Mrs Kemi Elebute Halle has called on the people of the state to cooperate with Governor Biodun Oyebanji for good governance that would better the lots of all and sundries.
She said Biodun Oyebanji’s policies and programmes in the state so far were taliored towards meeting the needs of the Masses, saying such policies are commendable .
Erelu Elebute Halle gave the charge while Fielding questions from select journalists in Ado Ekiti recently. She pointed out that though she was not in the same party with the inccubent governor but the fillers she got from people necesitated the call and to further spur the governor to prioritize the wellbeing of Ekiti People.
She further advised the governor to atimes personally monitor his projects rather than allowing ministries or his aids to do it for him. Mrs Elebute said most leaders have good plans and programmes for their subjects but thorough monitoring had always been the bane of such lofty programmes.
In her words” Moving out to monitor projects under construction will make Mr Governor know the feelings of Ekiti people and through this he will take home one or the ideas from the masses. Adding that such visit apart from getting first hand information, Mr governor would be endeared to the people”
The philantropist assured Ekiti people that Biodun Oyebanji would deliver dividends of Democracy to the people, saying Ekiti should cooperate and allow him transform the state.
She further advised that Government should not abandon their predecessors uncompleted projects, Saying such act retard the growth of the state. Adding that it was wasting of state fund.
