Giving is a divine gift and calling: Not all that are financially endowed give with good intention.
Mr Abiodun Emmanuel Oniyelu’s Philantropic activities no doubt had better the lives of several people in Ilupeju Ekiti and Nigeria in general. This lanky, humble, respectful and silent giver has carved a niche for himself via his humanitarian services; ‘ABEY’ as fondly called is a household name not only in Ekiti state but across the globe.
Ilupeju Ekiti is lucky to have a pragmatic and progressive ‘institution’ who is not a politician and yet not tired of helping the needy. He is a silent giver. Through his hard earned money gotten from a dint of hardwork, ‘ Abey Oniyelu has empowered several thousand of persons- old and young: students, artisans, farmers, market women and civil servants without any publicity.
Among the army of youth in Nigeria, Abbey’s name rings bell, that’s why Online Chapel’ of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ekiti state Council peeped to his Philantropic activities and uncovered truly he’s impacted lives. His humanitarian services has earned him an award of excellence which I believe will spur him to continue to better the lots of the masses.
On Sunday, 23 March, 2025 in One-O-One Lounge and Resort, Ado Ekiti where the presentation of the award took place, the Online chairman, Comrade Ayodele Abere commended Mr Abiodun Oniyelu for his positive dispositions to the well-being and upliftment of mankind, as he enjoined other spirited Nigerians to emulate Abey’s kind gestures. According to comrade Abere “Nigeria will be a more better country if we can all exhibit this kind virtues which I believe would not only reduced social maladies but make Nigeria a saved country ”
‘ABEY Souty’ is a good listener, a socialite, progressive, though young but a community leader with a large heart desirous of putting smiles on the faces of the masses and had contributed handsomely to the development of several communities in and out of Ekiti State.
Responding, the chairman of LA ABEY HOTEL AND SUITES, LAGOS STATE said ” Helping the masses has been part of me and I shall continue to do my best to make people happy; I am a product of grace, I was not born with silver spoon but God blesses my hustle. Hence, it’s incumbent on me to be appreciative of God benevolence at all times by helping the masses. ”
‘Abey’ is our pride, it’s our prayers that God protects and blesses him to keep the good works on. Givers never lack, keep doing it ,God will reward you handsomely. Congratulations!
