According to him, Governor Oyebanji’s administration has recorded significant achievements in infrastructure development, road construction and rehabilitation, healthcare delivery, education, agriculture, workers’ welfare, youth empowerment, and security, thereby improving the quality of life of Ekiti residents.
Oniyelu stated that the governor’s dedication to true service, prudent management of resources, and determination to bring development to every part of the state earned him the confidence and trust of the electorate.
The chairman particularly appreciated Governor Oyebanji for his interventions in Ilupeju-Ekiti and Ifeloju LCDA, including road rehabilitation projects, support for community development initiatives, and other developmental programmes that have positively impacted the lives of the people.
He also commended party leaders, members, and residents of Ifeloju LCDA for their commitment and massive support during the election, noting that they trooped out in their thousands to cast their votes for Governor Oyebanji and ensure his overwhelming victory at the polls. According to Oniyelu, the impressive turnout of voters in the council area demonstrated the people’s confidence in the governor’s leadership and their desire for the continuity of his developmental agenda.
The council chairman prayed that God would preserve all the residents, party faithful, and stakeholders who contributed to the electoral success and granted them the grace to enjoy greater dividends of democracy and good governance under the Oyebanji administration. He expressed confidence that the governor’s second term would usher in greater prosperity and accelerated development for Ekiti State, assuring him of the continued support and cooperation of the people of Ifeloju LCDA.
While praying for the governor, his wife, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji and the deputy governor, the council chairman asked God to grant them greater wisdom, strength, good health, and divine guidance as they prepare to commence their second term in office in October. He urged Ekiti residents to continue supporting the administration to enable it to consolidate on its achievements and deliver more dividends of democracy across the state.
