The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Comrade Babatunde Ogunmilugba has commiserated with the Royal family; The Oloris, the Apeju -in Council, chiefs, Ilupeju Ekiti sons and daughters on the demise of His Royal Majesty, Oba Olaleye Emmanuel Oniyelu ii, The Apeju Of Ilupeju Ekiti who joined his Ancestors on 21st July, 2022.
Comrade Ogunmilugba said the death of Oba Oniyelu at this crucial time that his wealth of experience, wisdom and prowess are seriously needed to move Ilupeju and Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti forward was highly painful and heartbreaking.
In a statement obtained by Precise news online, the Ifeloju LCDA Boss, described the late Apeju as a great king whose reign between 1980- 2022 united Ilupeju Ekiti. During his 42 years on the throne, the town witnessed both physical and human developments , including his subjects in all strata of life that made Ilupeju Ekiti well recognized in Ekiti State and Nigeria.
The statement read in part:
“I have a good working relationship with Kabiyesi during his reign” Kabiyesi Oniyelu was passionate about the development of his town , subjects and Ifeloju LCDA. He was a loving, caring and a special king with sense of humour, with Apeju, you have no dull moment” He was a disciplinarian, a teacher of repute, a peaceful monarch and a builder of future leaders, honestly, baba will be greatly missed”
Ogunmilugba further reiterated that Oba Oniyelu had made his impacts felt via the numerous developmental projects that were recorded during his reign.
Saying, the king was fulfilled in all facets of life.
The Chairman prayed God to give the immediate family, sons, daughters of Ilupeju Ekiti, Ifeloju LCDA and well-wishers the fortitude to bear the great loss.
Comrade Ogunmilugba further enjoined the inhabitants of the town to maintain law and order as various activities would be taken place in the town.Saying, adequate security have been put in place.
