Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has approved the appointment of Mr Babalola Fabunmi as Secretary of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ilupeju Ekiti
In a statement by Special Adviser, Media to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode has directed that Fabunmi be sworn- in immediately, for him to join his colleagues for the retreat being organised for new leadership of the councils.
Governor Oyebanji urged the new secretary to see his appointment as an opportunity to serve his people and contribute to the overall development of the LCDA.
Recall that Mrs Ajiboye Taiwo Rosemary from Itapa Ekiti was earlier appointed as the Secretary to the LCDA. The appointment was said to have caused misunderstanding in the council because the vice Chairman and the secretary were from Itapa Ekiti. For equity, her swearing in was put on hold on Monday. Mr Babalola Fabunmi is from Ijelu Ekiti to balance the political block.
