In her usual way of assisting residents of Ekiti state to reduce hunger caused by economic hardship, the wife of Ekiti state Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji has distributed bags of food, containing several food items to residents of AROWA community in Ado Ekiti.
Each of the package contained: Rice, Beans, Salt, Spaghetti Noodles, among others.
Distributing the food items at the community square in Ado Ekiti, the Governor’s wife, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji who was represented by her Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters, Mrs Toyin Adepoju said the gesture was to make life easy for the masses as well as make them enjoy dividends of democracy.
She added that the wife of the Governor was passionate about the masses, saying she would not cease catering for their needs.
She encouraged the people to support the present administration to win elections for the second term.
In their Goodwill messages, two members of the community; Alhaji Isiaka Onipede and Honorable Arogundade Babatunde thanked the Governor’s wife and pledged their loyalty as well as allegiance for the second term bid of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration.
The head of the community, High Chief Francis Fagbuaro appreciated the Governor and his wife for the kind gesture and other projects executed, especially roads construction.
He expressed the determination of the people in the community to support the bidding of the present administration in pursuant of second term in office.
